ISM HOLDS
COLOURFUL SPORTS MEET

The Annual Sports day of the
Primary Section of Indian School Muscat (ISM) was held
on
21 February 2008
.
Mrs. Radha Mukherji, Member, Board of Directors
of the Indian schools in
Oman
was the chief guest and declared the sports meet open.
This was followed by an impressive March Past by about
575 students of Std. IV who carried banners depicting
values such as Joy, Love, Peace, Unity etc. which ISM
would like every student to imbibe.
The various athletic events drew cheers from
everyone. The
Free Hand exercise
by the students of std II, the colourful Hoop
Drill culminating with
rhythmic waves by the students of Std. III
and the Wand Drill with amazing formations by the
students of Std. IV.
were truly imposing. The grand finale of the
program was a group song entitled “ Bachhe Man Ke
Sachhe.” It was sung by about 1600 students of
Std. II, III & IV in perfect co-ordination and
unison drawing a thunderous applause from the
spectators. There was a large gathering of parents and
well wishers to watch their children in action on the
field.
