EXCELS AT CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD
Sandra
Siby Deepthy, Anjely P. Sebastian and Benzun Pious Wisely of
Indian School Muscat stood 3rd and 4th
respectively in the Gulf Chemistry Olympiad 2007. In
addition, 49 students of the school
were awarded Merit Certificates for their excellent
performance. The
Olympiad was conducted by
Carmel School
,
Kuwait
.
The Chemistry Olympiad has the objective to instill interest
in the subject, to acquaint students with the recent
development and progress in the field of Chemistry and to
groom them for the CBSE Board Examination. The Olympiad also
promotes the reasoning, application and comprehensive
abilities of the students.
