ISM SWIMS TO SUCCESS AT ABU DHABI     

(CBSE GULF ZONAL SWIMMING MEET:)

A contingent of 10 students represented ISM at the CBSE Gulf Zonal Swimming Meet hosted by Abu Dhabi Indian School from 14^th to 16^th September 2006.

 The Under-19 boys team from ISM ruled the pool by winning most of the individual events and both the relays. Aafaq Bhatri won 6 gold while Amit Thakur won 5 gold and 2 silver medals. Other winners were Samir Siddiqui -1gold, 1silver and 1 bronze, Mohanish Jaju -2 gold and 2 bronze, Safia Siddiqui -2 gold and 1 silver, Sneh Taori -1 gold and 2 silver, Surhud Vaidya -2 gold, Nilesh Vatsyayan - 1 Silver and 1 bronze and Abhishek Kulkarni  - 1 bronze medal.

The  team is currently representing ISM at the CBSE National Swimming Meet being held in Nagpur, India from 7^th to 11^th October 2006.
