Such exhibitions are organized by the school as an annual feature to provide the students an opportunity to showcase their learning & knowledge creatively and innovatively. These are well liked by pupils, as they are avenues to present their talents outside the classroom, beyond the domain of formal learning.

The highlights of the Commerce Department were a Bank Safety Vault, which faithfully sounded an alarm each time an intruder moved close, numerous charts that displayed the various steps involved in setting up a new Entrepreneurship venture graphically, a model of the ‘circular flow’ of Income & a replica of the Bombay Stock Exchange. The Student’s own insurance company ‘SICO’ offered details of several attractive insurance schemes available to the public. Yet another project gave the various facets of Import & Export procedures. The fashion show, ‘MOI COLLECTION’, part of Entrepreneurship & Business Studies, brought in glitter & glamour as student- models walked the ramp in various ethnic costumes.

The Department of Humanities offered psychological testing procedures for memory & cognition on volunteers, highlights of Japanese & Omani cultures, charts & models on social problems like   Alcoholism, Drug Addiction; concept of Work in Rural & Urban Societies and   a comprehensive study of the institution of marriage.

As Cricket Diplomacy is part of the class IX curriculum in History, it was represented through charts & a Power Point Presentation. Tsunami 2004 still looms large in the minds of the young, so a model representing the geographical conditions before & after one found its place among the exhibits. A model on types of Irrigation systems was self explanatory while a model of ‘an Oil Rig’ gave the visitors details of the procedure of oil extraction. One of the rooms was transformed with the display of Indian costumes, handicraft & traditional art forms to show the famed Unity in Diversity.

The Department of English had on display colourful Tourist Brochures, Invitations, Posters & Pamphlets. Performances of ‘Sketch Comedy’ that teaches a language with a combination of acting & extempore speech were a huge success as were the live sessions of ‘Jam’ & Spelling Bee. The Quadrangle gave a glimpse of the Bard’s work & times with a replica of   Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre complete with gallery, dressing room & the stage and students acting out scenes from Macbeth & The Merchant of Venice.

The Department of French offered a virtual tour of France through a Power Point Presentation, a model of   La Ville de Paris with all its famous landmarks, La Tour Eiffel, Le Musée du Louvre, La Notre Dame, Les Champs elysées & La Seine. There was a display of French cuisine with  samples of wine, chocolate, salad & cake.

The Department of Hindi had charts   presenting poems, poets, writers, writing skills & parts of Grammar with a lot of creativity. Photocopies of the answer scripts of students scoring top marks in Hindi were on display to help students & parents understand better the parameters of a good paper.

Thus the two-day exhibition that won accolades & drew large crowds gave the organizers and participants a sense of satisfaction.
