This was followed by a welcome address by the Principal, Mr. Ainsley Edgar. “Kiddie Angel” – the mascot of the Carnival and children dressed as cartoon characters accompanied contingents from various schools. escorted the kids from different schools. The range of activities that followed then provided a fitting opportunity for the children to display their histrionics, their skills and talent.

The youngsters got an opportunity to compete in activities such as Word Building, Story Writing, Kala Kruthi, Skit, Macaroni Garlands, Jokes, Tableau, Treasure Hunt and the ever popular and keenly contested Folk Dance. While the environment was the cause of concern for the younger generation in the skits, proper recycling of waste was the topic for the collage makers.
