AN ASSEMBLY ON ‘
MISSION
GREEN EARTH’
The
children of the Primary Section of Indian School Muscat
participated in a special Assembly in support of
‘Mission Green Earth’. Children wore green sashes
and held potted plants in their hands which lent more
significance to this assembly.
Toshali
Sengupta, Aadil Mehdi Sanchawala and Mayank Shrivastava
recited meaningful poems which conveyed the importance
of trees in our lives.
The
assembly was addressed
by the Principal who stressed upon the necessity
to realize the importance of nature around us. He
motivated the children to work towards preserving it.
The
Vice Principal of the Primary Section, Mr. Anand Prabhu,
led all the children in taking a pledge to plant and
nurture a sapling each, to make people aware of the
harmful effects of Global Warming and to help and make
this world a better place to live in.
