ISM STUDENTS EXCEL IN
TERRA QUIZ 2010
Siddharth
Kerkar of X-H and Tanvi Gupta of VIII-J represented ISM
in TERRA QUIZ 2010 , organized in New Delhi
by The Energy and Resources Institute, Delhi and
sponsored by the Ministry of
Environment and Forest, Govt. of India. The quiz
was based on environmental issues. ISM won second place
in the quiz in which 32 schools participated from
India
and abroad.
Tanvi
Gupta has also been declared as the ‘Country Winner’
from Sultanate of Oman in the annual environmental
examination ‘The Green Olympiad’ organized by The
Energy and Resources Institute,
New Delhi
. She scored
the highest marks to receive the title of ‘Country
Winner’ among the students participated in the
competition and has been awarded a cash prize RS.8000 (USD
173) by the Ministry of Environment and Forests,
Government of India.
Siddharth
kerkar and Tanvi Gupta were felicitated by the school on
the annual academic award ceremony.
