CELEBRATED WORLD HEALTH DAY
On the occasion of World Health Day on Wednesday 7th
April 2010, Indian School Muscat students joined with
the World Health Organisation (WHO) on its Health Day
campaign. ISM
Health and Eco Club members enthusiastically
participated in an awareness campaign in school campus,
displaying health awareness messages on placards. The
students also carried the message of WHO for the year
2010 ‘Urbanisation and Health’. The campaign in the
school was Coordinated by Mr.Biju Varghese, a teacher
from Department of Social Science and Mrs. Lalitha
Mallya from Biology Department. The Senior School
Student Council also played an active role in making
Health Day programme successful. The school emphasizes
on the message on preventing Child hood obesity, No to
junk food and No to tobacco use and smoking.
