Mesmerizing Concert
The
programme on the third day began with
the enactment of a fairy tale”The Princess who
did not smile” by the children of KG II G .
The Story was mimed and enacted by groups of
children dressed for the part to the story which was
narrated by the children.
Then the children of KG I E
came in dressed as different animals to enact out
the story “Zelda the Zebra”.
Lots of different characters apart from the main
character Zebra, were on stagewhichmade the stage
colourful.
Through an impressive enactment
the children of KG II C conveyed the importance
of healthy
foods. Costumed
to represent different fruits and vegetables and other
foods which the children should consume to keep health,
the children emphasized the importance of eating
healthy.
The
children of KG I F very effectively conveyed the message
through the
dance-drama, “A Surprise Gift”, that the best toy
for any child is his friends.
The children of KG II B
enacted out the story “ The chocolate party”
. The
children bewitched the audience with their dexterity and
rhythm . The
children spoke with great confidence which enthralled
the audience.
The
Vice-Principal of Primary
Section, addressed the gathering of parents and
children. He
appreciated the efforts of the teachers in training the
children and sang a song to the children gathered that
day. The KG
Supervisor presided over the function.
The concerts were a grand success for the children,
parents and teachers .All children and teachers worked
very hard together to put up these concerts.
Lots of hard work was put into rehearsing and
preparing for the concerts for many weeks prior to the
big day. From very young age when children are
introduced to music and dance and drama , it helps them
enormously in gaining self confidence.
