       Workshop for all the Oman Hindi Teachers at Indian School Muscat  

A superb and knowledge packed workshop was organized for the Hindi Teachers of the Indian Schools in Oman on 5th  November 2008.  The Hindi teaching styles  was conducted by Dr. Ramakaran Dabhas SCERT, New Delhi . Dr. R. Dabhas is a prolific writer and he has written several books for organizations such as  SCERT, NOS, IGNOU, DPEP and JMI in India .  

The teaching styles and methodology workshop began with the formal inaugural function. It started with a devotional prayer in Hindi followed by a welcome speech. Dr. Dabhas enlightened several conceptual innovative approaches to teaching of Hindi language at Primary and Secondary stages. He outlined the technique for spelling. He dealt with the various aspects of teaching grammar , literature, poetry and outlined important characteristics to be born in mind while setting  of the question papers for the tests and examinations.

The workshop concluded with a very memorable valedictory function where Teachers from different Indian  schools shared their experience and expressed gratitude to the resource person for all that they gained.   Almost 50 teachers teaching Hindi from all Indian schools participated in the workshop.
