ISM
Celebrates Children’s Day with colours of Fun
and
Gaiety
The
teachers of the Middle Section of ISM made this year’s
Children’s Day 0n 14th November 2009 an
occasion to remember for all the students.
On this
day, HDFC Oman had organized to conduct large scale
painting competition in which about 2500 middle school
students participated. A wide array of topics ranging
from Global Warming, Landscape of Oman, Scientific
achievements of
India
, etc. helped the students give free rein to their
imagination in exhibiting their painting talents in kaleidoscopic
colors.
The
latter part of the day saw a spectacular variety
entertainment programme in the form of dances, skit, a
fashion show and so on, lovingly put up by the teachers
for their loving students.
The students enjoyed the show thoroughly and were
absolutely mesmerized to behold their teachers in
different roles.
The
senior section of ISM had Mr. Bramhanand Shankwalkar as
the Guest of Honour who was
India
’s ace goal keeper and a captain in 1983 to 1986.
He was the recipient of Arjuna Award.
He admired the 2500+ senior students for their
achievements and advised to chase path of outstanding
success through continued efforts and diligence.
He reminded that they hold the keys to the
success of the future.
Senior teachers too entertained their children to
melodious songs, dances and Anthakshri.
