ISM FOOTBALL
TEAM EMERGES CHAMPIONS
Indian
School Muscat won the championship in the recently held
CBSE Oman Cluster U-19 boys Football Tournament hosted
by Indian School Muscat.
Eight teams from Indian Schools in the Sultanate
of Oman – Indian School Darsait, Al Ghubra, Salalah,
Nizwa, Al Seeb, Al Wadi Al Kabir, Sohar and the host
school participated in the tournament.
ISM
defeated Indian School Darsait by 6-0 in the quarter
finals, IS Seeb in the semi-finals by 2-1 and Indian
School Al Ghubra in a nail-biting final by 1-0.
Usman Bashir scored the lone goal for ISM.
With
this winning football
team is qualified to participate in the CBSE National
Football Championship which will be held at
Chennai
,
India
.
ISM
family congratulates the football team and its coach Mr.
Ansar Ibrahim and wishes them good luck in the national
championship.
